Charged 500 baht of 1000 deposit for “dirty” towels. Beware of scam

At this hotel, they tried to sell us towels. There was a small trace of cream on the towel, which washed off with regular tap water. The hotel employee claimed that the towel was no longer usable. I went and washed the cream off with water myself. It's normal for towels not to be perfectly clean after use, but it can be washed off with detergent and water! Moreover, after I managed to wash the towel with regular water without soap, the employee started DRYING IT WITH A HAIRDRYER RIGHT AT THE RECEPTION DEPARTMENT to check IF IT WAS CREAMED. And then he started saying that the towel was no longer soft enough. We left the perfect room, since we only slept in it for 5 hours. Yes, something may remain on the towel when you wash, but it can be washed. Horrible! Be prepared to be charged for a lip blemish on the mug you drank from. The room itself is fine, in line with the price. Clean. Weak water pressure.

Nice but basic accommodation only problem was just Thai on Tv. Room was cleaned every day and was nice to come back to after long day. Aircon working too. Great location si phraya ferry located 8 minutes behind which takes you to icon Siam, reclining Buddha etc.
