If you’re in Bangkok and not eating at Pad Thai & Tom Yum 2, you are seriously missing out. Gary and I (Linda!) have eaten lunch here three days in a row — and that alone should tell you everything. When you find a place this good, you don’t “try” somewhere else… you come back. The food is next-level fresh and authentically Thai. Every dish tastes like it was made with care, pride, and recipes passed down through generations. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced — savory, slightly sweet, with that fresh squeeze of lime that makes it pop. The mixed vegetables were vibrant, crisp, and clearly just-prepared. And don’t even get me started on the mango sticky rice — absolute perfection. Sweet, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The fresh pineapple was the perfect refreshing finish. What makes it even better? It’s family owned and operated, and you can feel it. The service is welcoming, genuinely friendly, and impressively fast. You’re not just another table — you’re treated like a guest. The photos are for your review (including one of us — Gary and Linda — happily enjoying every bite!) because this place deserves to be seen as much as it deserves to be tasted. If you’re anywhere near here, go. Don’t overthink it. Just go hungry. We’ll definitely be back again before we leave Bangkok. 🍜✨
This place is great! Even without all the free food, and there is lots of it, this restaurant would be a winner. Nothing fancy, but just good, well prepared Thai food at a good price. We had the Pad Thai and Thai Basil, Pork, and both were delicious. The pineapple, the water, the coconut, and the mango sticky rice, all free from the restaurant, we're all excellent as well. In particular, it was some of the best mango sticky rice we've had in Thailand. The servings are also very generous. Very highly recommended.
Located just at walking distance from Prince Palace hotel, this place serves some delicious Thai dishes. Many travellers had left their thoughts, emotions and love for thailand on the walls of the place. We ordered fried chicken with rice and pad Thai but ended up getting extra green tea roti and mango sticky rice by the owner. Exchanged some fun moments with the fellow travellers. Owner is very kind and polite.I suggest to visit this place around 9:00 - 9:30. Mango sticky rice is a must try here.
We had (from furthest to closest) Fried pork with garlic and pepper with rice, Papaya Salad ( Som Tam ) and Chicken Pad Thai. Complementary you get bottled cold water, pineapple and mango on rice, that makes a lot of food. Everything was delicious! We were kindly warned on which dressings are spicy. After the meal you can ask for a container, to pack leftovers to go. Tasty, great value for money, attentive service.
Don’t judge the book by its cover!! Reviews don’t Lie at all. Amazing food and the Generous owner. Hands out free food while you wait Mango sticky rice is amazing & pad thai is good. It is located inside a small street but worth the hype. We tried so many things & went back again. Try the mango sticky rice with some chilli flavour he has it on table. It will give you a new perspective of the Dessert. Yum in the Tum!!
