Warung Kintamani

Ordered tilapia and grilled chicken. Asked for size S fish, but they only had size L. Food was good. But no side dish to go with it, you need to order separately. Overall not bad, but quite expensive

The reviews about foreigner getting more expensive menu is sadly true..! U can see that even the XL size mujair nyat nyat for local (2nd photo) is only 40k but we are charged 60k for a merely L size.. when confronted with the staff, they said ours are from new menu.. and they don understand English (I guess act blur, live longer) so foreigners, be prepared to pay premium prices for smaller size fish. 😩😩 or maybe ask for the paper menu rather than the black menu. 2 stars for the food but not for the price difference

I hate leaving negative reviews. I spent 107k. I would not recommend. There are better options. I could only take a single bite and had to leave. Below is what they charged me for a Large fish. 67k. Rice was extra. And served cold. The tea was just a tea bag. The fish smelled pungent. Certainly not fresh. But perhaps it was my fault, I came last minute and I was a tourist. The waiter was nice though.

Such a great local warung with a great atmosphere. Trees, local music, a cat and pretty lights along with great fish dishes. We tried the Ikan nyat nyat and ikan mujair bakar…both very tasty. The bakar was my favorite because it’s got a nice mix of sweet and spice to it!

If you want to try one of the best tilapia in Bali, this is a great place. The prices are a bit higher but the quality is really good. They have different fish and several preparations, it's really nice that you can choose your favorite style. Fried fish is not spicy but the grilled one is covered is pretty spicy sauce but it is delicious!
