Weekday mornings are the quietest
Went there on Valentines Day. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and the prices were fair. Unfortunately forgot my Umbrella which led to us coming back two days later to try the breakfast. Even though it was my fault that I forgot my umbrella, staff apologized as it was locked in a safe only the manager could open. The manager came soon later and breakfast was awesome. Can only recommend the restaurant, staff is amazing and the food did not disappoint at any time.
I visited Sala Bistro twice, for both brunch and lunch, and had a great experience each time. The quality of the food is excellent, with well-balanced flavors and generous portions across both menus. The air-conditioned indoor area is especially comfortable, offering a quiet and relaxed setting. They also offer a complimentary coffee in the morning until 11am, which is a thoughtful touch. I’m still thinking about their sticky date pudding, a must if you have sweet tooth. A place I would happily return to in Ubud 🫶🏼
Every dish was phenomenal! Great service and vibes. The starters were so good! The humus is creamy and flavorful, the burrata salad is mind blowing. I love the dates in it. So surprising but a great addition. The lobster pasta was very flavorful and a great portion. We finished with pizza which was delicious and cheesy. Very pleased with the experience. Highly recommend.
Popped in on our last full day for lunch. They have a wonderful menu with many healthy options, actually opted for the chilli scramble which was delicious and Stacey had the Mexican bowl which was lovely and fresh. We also enjoyed a Bintang and Aperol spritz! Perfect start to the day ♥️
Visited here a few times over our visit for food and drinks. Really calm and welcoming atmosphere, day and night. Food is great value for money and alcoholic drinks feel stronger than some other local bars… Partner said they done the best Aperol Spritz she’s ever had, they were 2-4-1 also. There’s an outdoor seating area at the front of the building, ideal for the evening as it’s a little cooler. It can get hot inside on the ground floor but they also have an upstairs room that has air conditioning. They give you this option when booking a reservation. Well worth a visit, plenty decent bars around it, right in the heart of Ubud.
