Mélisses

Enjoyed a great cup of coffee in this nice corner cafe in Gazi. The area is mixed in terms of modern and rundown, but it's places like this that are rejuvenating the area. Friendly staff and good service, and nice outdoor seating too.

My partner and I stayed in Gazi for a week while visiting Athens. Every morning we walked over to Melisses for coffee and pastries, and every morning the staff welcomed us with kindness and hospitality. No better place to start your morning than here!

Low key very local cafe with superb staff and the best cappuccino I’ve had in Athens. Also at only €1.20 for a cappuccino you will stay and have many!! Second year coming back and the amazing girls working the front remembered me immediately. Such a warm and welcoming place to start the day and just enjoy the weather a book and an amazing coffee. Coffee perfectly made, lovely location, and just by the way not at all expensive.

It may look like your average neighborhood café, but Melisses is anything but! I wandered in with two friends on a Friday morning, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of coffee. The place was filling up quickly but we managed to snag a table. Great music beats and cheap prices with the best coffee cups to go!
