Malvazia

Malvazia was recommended to us by the owner of Thes in the Psirri district, and we’re so glad we followed that tip. Although the restaurant is located just outside the lively heart of Athens, it is absolutely worth visiting. This is clearly a place loved by the locals — and for good reason. You won’t find many tourists here, which adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was exceptional. Just like at Thes, every dish came with a delightful, original twist that made familiar Greek flavors feel fresh and exciting. You can truly taste the passion and creativity in the kitchen. If you’re looking to escape the busier parts of the city and enjoy authentic Greek cuisine with a creative touch, Malvazia is the perfect place. A wonderful recommendation — and one we will gladly pass on to others!

If I could, I would multiply these stars by 10 at least! SUCH a wonderful place and experience! It was my first time and there will be many more to follow. From the brilliant overall ambiance, that was so tasteful and minimal, to the genuinely welcoming staff and lovely warm service all the way through. The food itself was AMAZING as well as the wine list available. The music added such a lovely note to the whole experience, I didn't want to leave the place. WELL DONE!!!

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, with a cozy setup featuring a beautiful brick wall and lovely string lights that added a warm touch. The meal was delicious, and the service was excellent. Overall, this place is a hidden gem in Athens!

Very hight quality restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, incredible service and the flavours were unique, interesting and satisfactory. Had a wonderful experience dining there and I will be back. My only complaint was the wooden chairs. Although very nice looking, they were very uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a really good night.
