Espressso bar

This place serves probably the best espresso and cappuccino in the whole Plaka area. Highly recommend coming in for an espresso based drink. There are a lot of other options in the immediate area but after trying a number of other shops this one makes the best. Nice patio area and indoor seating available, but the patio chairs aren’t super comfortable so be aware if you’re looking to relax you may want to sit inside. Really good stuff, and I returned here like 5 or 6 times as my go-to spot after having tasted all the surrounding coffee shops in about a 500m radius (it took a long time). I wish I had found this on my first day! Great job, and the waitress lady is super nice! Very friendly service!

1937 Coffee Bar offers great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff make every visit enjoyable. Plus, the outdoor seating is fantastic, perfect for relaxing while sipping your brew. A must-visit spot!

I love the cozy atmosphere of this cafe. Such a nice place near Syntagma Square and Monastiraki to spend time with friends. The owner, Andreas, is very kind and friendly. The coffee and other beverages are top class. Very clean washrooms. The vintage cafe décor is so amazing.

My husband and I visited from the U.S. and found this place by walking by. We had an absolutely great time and went back both nights we were there. They were so friendly and the drinks were great. Plus there were two cat buddies across the street. This place really made our trip to Athens even better.
