Delightful small cafe. Great breakfast offerings at a reasonable price. The pastries were particularly good as well. Staff were nice and welcoming. Really a beautiful place to start the day.

The food here is amazing. Fresh ingredients. It feels mostly local here and it’s a bit out of the tourist area. Monique, the owner is lovely. So happy to find a warm place to have a bite to eat that feels authentically Amsterdam.

Cozy place, but average food. They have a nice concept of paying for 2,3 or 4 dishes and choosing anything from the menu. Good opportunity to try various things from the menu. Portions aren’t big, which explains lower prices. I think it’s still a good value for your money. But food isn’t outstanding- in the end, it’s a simple brunch place, no stylish- fancy- servings. Their sandwiches look just like… sandwiches :)

What a fun place for brunch / lunch! The concept really is picnic-like: You order 2, 3, or 4 items from a good-sized list of sandwiches, soups, salads, and hot dishes such as quiche, and the staff brings out a single plate with all your small portions. Everything we had was delicious, but my favorite was probably the quiche. Dessert was also tasty. Of course, this is all enhanced by the presence of Pedro the cat, who visits from a nearby establishment. We were lucky enough to be seated next to Pedro's blanket, which meant we got to enjoy petting him and just being in his presence! Reservations recommended for weekends.
