Joe & The Juice

Terrible service, went in for a juice. Was waiting for 10 minutes, and was totally ignored by the person behind the counter. When a new customer came in with her kids, the employee immediately asked if she could help them. Sad, would recommend going to a different, and friendlier location. Not coming back here.

The service is a joke! The guy (who swears a lot) is trying to make everything work while the blond lady has no clue on what she is doing, burning bread, super slow and constantly confused 🫤 I waited 23 minutes for an avocado toast!

I am a regular J&J customer and this branch is definitely a kindergarden. Employees are nice kids but mostly play with eachother, acting randomly and keep forgetting ingredients - I've got at least 4 versions of chocolate flex in the last 6 months, todays was only water with cacao powder, exceeded my tolerance limit thanks to the sympathy to the brand.

Employees are kind and nice, coffee tastes good. But the place feels neglected. The atmosphere is generally nice but tables and furniture are broken and/or dirty, there is a massive noise making machine hanging out in the open right next to the seating area, big street trash containers are trying to hide in plain sight. Looking into the storage area that doesn't have enough space, so stuff is stored in the path way next to the bathroom, is not a nice sight. Also the lighting could use attention and a massive trash container in the middle of the place doesn't help. Overall - takeaway is a good idea here.

This cozy nook was absolutely perfect for a morning coffee and small bite to eat that has healthy options. The 2 men behind the counter were friendly/ courteous. It was a decent selection of sandwiches and small selection of baked goods. The big plus to this establishment was it opened at 8am. It was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the prices were commensurate with the surrounding area. NOTE: This place only takes card payment. I highly recommend this place if you are in or near Amsterdam Central.
