Food is very basic but good and you can’t beat the park view! It’s incredible on a sunny day to seat outside and enjoy a nice drink or have lunch!

It's a nice atmosphere when the weather allows you to sit in the garden, enjoy the sun, and the view. I have been there two times and it was quite easy to find a table even without booking in advance. You can find sandwiches, salads and drinks on the menu. The price is slightly higher compared to the places around.

A unique restaurant since it is in the middle of Vondelpark. You have pretty views all around you. The food is just very good, it's not as good as some of the super 'hip' brunch places in Amsterdam, but it still super tasty really. The waiter was very kind and on request even altered a dish on the menu slightly for us! The apple pie as a dessert was also a delight!

Fancy overprice restaurant with not so clean toilets I visited this place together with my wife for a business dinner. Their food and service are very good. They served us a full menu of very nicely crafted and very well cooked food. I can't say the same about the drinks. The wine they serve was average at best, way below the price standard. For the price we paid for the dinner, I would say it was overpriced. What really struck me was the cleanness of the toilets, or better said, the lack of. We stayed at that place for almost 4 hours, from 7 until 11 PM, and nobody bothered to clean the toilets in the meantime. It wasn't bad, but for such a high priced restaurant you'd expect it to be better.

Totally agree with previous review; mediocre, driven mainly by slow and unfriendly service. The location is great, in the center of Vondelpark. The menu is ok, but service is so mediocre. Some people deliver good and friendly service. But for most it's just a part time job. No interest, no effort and no smile. The venue is great, toilets are clean. It rained and the seats were wet. I asked for a towel to dry it, there was none available. At this price range, the service should include "dry chairs".
