I had an amazing experience here! The Lahmacun was incredibly flavorful and the desserts were some of the best I’ve had—truly top quality. The service was remarkably fast and attentive. A special shout-out for the timing: I was pleasantly surprised when they served my tea exactly as I started my dessert. It’s rare to see such perfect timing and thoughtful service. Highly recommended if you're looking for delicious food and great hospitality in the Netherlands!

Effendy Lahmacun is an absolute gem, especially if you’re craving real Turkish flavors. The lahmacun tasted exactly like authentic Antep lahmacun thin, perfectly baked, generously topped, and full of flavor. One bite was enough to bring back memories of home. The balance of spices, the quality of the ingredients, and the texture were all spot on. It’s rare to find this level of authenticity outside of Turkey, and Effendy truly delivers. If you’re someone who misses home or grew up with this kind of food, this place is a must-visit. It’s comforting, familiar, and incredibly satisfying. You can tell the food is prepared with care and respect for tradition, not just adapted versions. For anyone in Amsterdam looking for real Turkish street food done right, especially proper Antep-style lahmacun Effendy is the place to go. Highly recommended, and definitely a spot I’ll return to whenever I’m craving a true taste of home.

This was probably my top 2 favorite meals while in Amsterdam. The Turkish pizza, what an incredible culinary invention. If this place was near my house, I'd probably frequent every other day. We got the classic with cheese and the kebab. Bursting with flavor, and also very healthy ingredients. On the day we went, it was also super cold outside. We got a mint tea and a ginger tea... Which I cannot recommend enough. They pack those teas with fresh herbs and ginger, no skimping. Those teas really stood above, I won't forget them. Also, service is great, very friendly. Eat here, I wish I could.

It is the best Lahmacun ever I have tried in my lifetime. Service is fast , friendly and prices are fair. We have been there 2 days for every time when we get hungry. Thank you guys for this great opportunities.

Lovely spot in Amsterdam! I tried the veg spinach and feta lahmacun, my husband had the kabab one , also had baklava, tea, and juice — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The baklava was perfectly sweet and crisp, and the lahmacun was so authentic . Friendly service and cozy vibe too! Kids friendly 🫶
