I HIGHLY recommend this place for a wholesome bite of pie- AMAZING apple pie. I keep thinking back to it. Service was lovely, felt very warm and looked after. Coffee latte was on the lighter/watery side but a hot drink complimented the pie very nicely.

Had a really great brunch here while staying around De Pijp area in Amsterdam - fresh, simple options, all served up by super friendly, charming and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my “filet Americain” sandwich, and really wanted to try the home-made apple pie, but they had just sold the last piece and the next one was still being baked. I said I’d try to swing by again after 3pm, and they promised to save me a slice of the next pie. I was back at 330pm and the pie was absolutely worth the second trip…

Sure, the food is not going to be winning stars any time soon, being simple honest fare like plain rolls, soup or salad, but it is super fresh and tasty. The service so kind and attentive, fresh seasonal flowers on the tables, a cherry on top.

Amazing! 🤩 personalized experience and local charm. Food was fantastic. So happy to support this institution of 40+ years. Will definitely be back when I visit Amsterdam again. Great service and kind owner.
