Today was my second day in a row at this quaint little café. I quite literally stumbled upon it yesterday—Amsterdam ice and all—and stepped inside simply because something about it felt irresistibly romantic. A quiet reading corner, soft light, the kind of place that seems to whisper rather than call. From the moment I walked through the door, it felt both magical and strangely familiar. Everyone greeted me. I couldn’t tell who worked there and who was simply there for a coffee; it didn’t matter. Everyone felt like a friend. I decided then and there that this would be the place where I finished my first book of the year. Little did I know that I would end up spending the afternoon joining a cycling club, eating croissants, and helping a neighbour who had locked herself out of her house. This café feels like a safe haven. It’s the very definition of community. I watched people come and go, clearly familiar with one another, connected in quiet, effortless ways. And somehow, I felt part of it too—like I’d been coming here for years, like I belonged. After spending the holidays far away from family, the warmth and welcome I felt here meant more than I can put into words. I’d recommend this place any day.

We were only here for a couple of days but we totally fell in love with de koffie broeder ❤️ It’s a family owned business and the owner and his daughter are the sweetest people! The service is amazing and wholesome and the coffee tastes phenomenal! The prices are totally reasonable 10 out of 10 🫶🧡

Really good coffee and apple pie, staff was really nice and chill, and the atmosphere was perfect for a friday afternoon in the sun. It's cute, small, and really cozy :)

Nice and rich coffee. I have ordered a flat white and a croissant. The coffee taste really nice. An intense and rich flavour. The establishment is very cute, this type of vintage place, with different old chairs. I thought it was original that they have a self-payment cashier box.
