Café Wester

We enjoyed Cafe Wester so much we went THREE times while visiting Amsterdam! That is not something we normally do when traveling. It was a great spot! Lively vibe, friendly staff, and tasty drinks. Plus, it’s in a beautiful neighborhood perfect for a stroll. Highly recommend!

Had a really lovely breakfast here. Me and my partner sat outside and just took in a slice of Amsterdam while enjoying our food. Food was fantastic, reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly

So this won’t be a comprehensive review as my stay here didn’t last more than a minute. I walked inside to ask for a table for one and the young blonde man behind the basically dismissed me to a table outside. At first he ignored me until I asked and then acted like I was the worst person in the world because I wanted service. Maybe he should get on his bike, ride home and have a nap. He looked exhausted.

grabs ice with bare hands, unfriendly staff (both young male n female), would assume because i am not caucasian? served me just because they have to? walked in said “hi do you guys do iced latte?” Thats all i said n i got this service. The location is great though near the canal with spectacular view. Such a shame

Place is crowded! Stayed in the inside, ordered a Heineken Pint and some aged cheese. €15, pretty decent. About the place, music was good (Latin music). At the outside tables, you have a great view of the canal.
