Me and my partner decided to eat here on Tuesday 25th of November ( my birthday but they didn’t know that) we sat down at 11:38 and the server picked our order. They served every other person before us, even the ones that arrived later on. At 12:17 we decided to leave since we can’t wait all day around for a bagel. We informed the waiter that didn’t even give us the curtesy of a reply, she just turned around obviously not caring. From past experience i really liked this place, but those times the staff didn’t just sit around talking and laughing behind the counter as was the case today.
Service might be a bit slow, but considering the bagels are freshly made, it's understandable. Our food was delicious. We discovered this place on the last day of our trip, but we wish we'd found it earlier. The staff was friendly, and we'll keep the complimentary sunscreen as a memory. Thank you.
Really impressive menu! The vegan cream cheese bagels were excellent. The smoothie / juice options were great. I would definitely visit again. The staff could’ve been friendlier, we weren’t greeted when we arrived and went up to staff to order to be told we would be served at the seat. The bathroom is super dark and it wasn’t the cleanest. Some items in the bathroom should be refurbished.
A very nice, cozy café. Situated in a beautiful, animated area. A perfect place to run into and… hide, away from all those bicycles (I know that a lot of people find that pleasant, or "cute", but it's really too much in this city… they are against cars, fine, fair enough… but they are also against… pedestrians !! it's excessive, and dangerous - notably for visitors who do not have this many bicycles in the streets of the city - of the whole the country! - where they live). The service is very friendly. The coffee is truly good (and I am a serious coffee drinker…), served in beautiful, artistically designed and colored cups. As for the bagels : MIAM! I discovered that black one, which was really interesting… We spent a priceless moment there, me and my wife (married for 34 years, thank you)… while our son and his cousin were enjoying their boat tour on the canals… we even saw them pass by, in the boat, because you could see a canal and a lot of other picturesque views, from the large windows of this café (you can also seat outside).
Nice little brunch spot with a decent amount of indoor seating. They offer a fully customizable bagel menu with lots of gluten free and vegan options. Everything tasted fresh, clean and delicious!
