Passaguai

Absolutely appalling service. Took them 1h to bring a cheese platter and they even forgot the water and wanted to charge us for it. 4 euros for 4 slices of bread? DO NOT GO!

No bad, but could have been great. Atmosphere was good despite the busy street nearby, mostly free of loud tourists (except for us I guess...). Food was great and didn't feel like a cheap tourrist trap. Our only issue was with the service; some interactions felt a bit cold/rude (it was quite busy, i would understand), and we weren't sure if bread waitresses were offering to our table was going to be us to pay. We ended up paying 2 servings of bread despite eating just one, but maybe it's what other restaurants would call service fees.

Stumbled on this place unexpectedly, and were super impressed with the quality of the food! The cheese platter was a journey, the smoked tuna carpaccio and accompanying panzanella salad super tasty. Main course we opted for the passaguai potato cake and tomino cheese served with well cooked aubergine. Desserts were also great going for a classic tiramisu and their apple dessert. I think everything on the menu would have been delicious to be honest! Would love to dine there again.

This is the sister restaurant of Il Sorpasso and they are just one block away from each other! Great food as always (especially the carpacio and cold cuts) and service was warm and super efficient. They also among the restaurants that open early (5pm!) during summer. Booking is highly recommended especially if you want to have dinner around 8pm.
