Legendary Roman food emporium and coffee bar since 1932. A small coffee bar inside offers excellent espresso among shelves of imported goods. Brief visits only — the atmosphere is more shop than workspace.

This store is AMAZING, I wish I had it near my house because I’d buy EVERYTHING in it!
An extensive and spectacular selection of food and culinary items. Fun just to check things out . We purchased several of the Castroni brand of chocolates as gifts for our friends who said they were fantastic. The store also has an espresso bar which was busy with locals. The business takes great pride in their products as everything is neatly and beautifully displayed. Highly recommend this store to find unique tastes, treats and gifts on your visit to Rome…
A+++ 10/10 PRICEY but they have it ALL... one-stop-shopping. Nice staff.
Castroni is a true Roman treasure! The variety here is incredible—you can find everything from Italian specialties like coffee, chocolates, and pasta to international products that are hard to track down elsewhere. It’s the perfect place to pick up gourmet gifts or a little something special for yourself. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with shelves full of unique finds that make you want to browse for hours. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, ready to guide you through their wide selection. Whether you’re after authentic Italian flavors or global treats, Castroni never disappoints. A must-visit in Rome—absolutely five stars!
Best Castroni shop in all Rome, in my opinion. Large and very well stocked. I was looking for Mexican and other Tex-Mex and Latinamerican products and found many of them! From cans of jalapeños, mole paste, dried chilies, flour tortillas, corn tortillas, corn flour (Maseca), etc., they have them! Even Valentina picante sauce, which it’s my favorite! They have it! They also have many American products like BBQ sauce, salad dressing, etc. Plenty of spices and other cooking products from Asia, Germany, etc I did not have a chance to look at everything but will do next time!
