Red Door Cafe in Holešovice is one of those places that feels genuinely special. The owner, Petr, has a fascinating story—having lived in Australia and running a roastery in Valašsko—and that authenticity really comes through in the atmosphere of the cafe. He is warm, friendly, and easy to talk to if you’re in the mood for a chat, but also very respectful if you just want to sit and work. The space strikes a rare balance between minimalism and comfort. It’s clean and thoughtfully designed, yet cozy and homey at the same time. There are a couple of comfortable chairs for relaxing, as well as tables that work well for getting things done. The shelves with interesting books add a nice personal touch. Thanks to the large windows, the cafe is beautifully lit throughout the day. It also opens at 7:30, which is earlier than many places nearby—a big plus if you like starting your day early. The location is slightly off the beaten path, but still very convenient, close to both Stromovka and tram connections. Overall, it’s a welcoming, thoughtfully run cafe that’s easy to return to again and again.

It was wonderful! Great food, top quality coffee, they played the best music everrr, the atmosphere is excellent. The service was super nice. The location is very good. Really great experience. Coming back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately a bit of a let down. Pastry was dry, staff OK. At least the interior is spacious and kind of fun. The price for slice of frgal for 45 CZK holds it up.

Great neighborhood coffee place. Handmade high quality sweets like frgal and 4 types of house coffee beans, very nice owner and atmosphere. Very good prices and dog friendly!
