After hearing about Pilot Cafe Letná, we knew we had to try their coffee for ourselves — and it was absolutely worth the visit. I ordered an espresso tonic (one of my personal favourites), while my husband went for a cappuccino. From the very first sip, my espresso tonic stood out. It had a delicate floral note and a smooth, mild character that felt both refreshing and thoughtfully balanced. Curious about the flavour, I asked the barista and learned that the twist came from the elderflower tonic they use. It added a subtle sweetness and aromatic lift without overpowering the espresso. Such a simple yet brilliant touch — now I’m not sure I can enjoy an espresso tonic any other way. The cappuccino was equally well executed. It was mild, creamy, and nicely balanced, allowing the coffee’s flavour to shine without being too bold or too soft. It’s the kind of cup that feels comforting and carefully crafted. The staff were welcoming and genuinely pleasant, happy to chat about the drinks and clearly passionate about what they serve. The café itself has a calm, peaceful atmosphere with a clean, well-organized layout. The seating by the window panes is especially cozy — perfect for a relaxed coffee break while watching the world go by. Overall, Pilot Cafe Letná delivers both quality and atmosphere.
Super sweet staff, food is amazing and coffee as well. Super happy we could find place like this after New Year Eve 🙏🏻✨ Definitely recommend to visit this place.
I liked this branch way more - it is a bigger, nicer space and allows you to enjoy the interior and atmosphere way better. Food was good, but I need to try more options to make a final score here. The sausage in the english breakfast was a bit too fat for my taste. The avocado toast was good, but not omg good. What saves the day is the coffee - batch brew was absolutely excellent and I love the texture of the cups. Service was fine, noting to be fussy about. P.S. reservations are recommended. It gets busy during lunch/brunch hours.
A nice small cafe near the park and technical museum. Really nice yummy simple dishes. Clean bathrooms. As with many places in Prague, they plan for guests to bring dogs which is awesome.
Returning for a second visit yo this airplane themed café and bistro. The l atmosphere has a modern vibe that first drew me in. The space had a charming vibe—warm, relaxed, and inviting. Their pastry and torte selection is visually enticing, and if first impressions count, they certainly know how to catch the eye. On my initial visit, I thoroughly enjoyed a well-prepared cappuccino. This time, I opted for a flat white, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. It was quite bitter, to the point where even generous spoonfuls of sugar couldn’t mellow it out. That said, the staff’s was accommodating and offered to replace it with a latte, which was a far more enjoyable choice and a testament to attentive service. For breakfast, I tried the English-style plate. Presented on a hot skillet, the concept was creative—but the execution had its drawbacks. While it kept the food warm, it also unintentionally warmed the accompanying salad, which wasn’t pleasant. The baked beans, unfortunately, had a ketchup-like sweetness that overwhelmed rather than complemented the dish. However, the kalbasa was a standout—flavorful and well-cooked. Still, with some more thoughtful seasoning across the board and the use of traditional bacon rather than an alternative, the entire dish could have been much stronger. It’s clear this café is working hard to find its footing. The potential is certainly there. There’s a charm to the place that makes you want to root for it. I’d be willing to return again—especially to see how the pastries compare.
