Great local shop with a very good variety of tea blends. They also sell cool looking teaware and books about magic (as random as that combination sounds I find it very charming).

We wandered in there while on our way to lunch, not expecting much but it was so great inside! The owner was so kind and even helped us practice a little bit more Spanish by speaking with us slowly. We got to smell a bunch and ended up walking away with three herbal and infusion teas. So excited to get them home to try! I’d have bought more but I don’t think my suitcase would be able to fit it all! Highly recommend stopping by if teas are your souvenir options.

On a recent trip to Madrid, my husband researched and found the Paréntesis de olvido, as he knows that tea is one of my passions. What a delight to visit this tea store. There are many tea blends to smell and consider. Huge thanks to the lovely Lula, who cheerfully and patiently worked with me to satisfy my specific taste. I left with six different teas, black and green blends, and herbal (known as infusion) and I am looking forward to savoring every sip back home and recall our wonderful time in Madrid.
