Humble inside...but food excellent
We were looking for a place to have lunch and we found this place. It was full of locals, and the atmosphere was great. Our children were enjoying the place and their meals. The food was good as well as the service.
No frills spot with a traditional menu at a good price.
The waiter was patient and cared to help no Spanish speakers (he didn't know English -but was patient). The staff was helpful but there was a lot of activity in the bar, seemed very local and rowdy but was an experience overall. We ordered the antricot which I ordered by default since I didn't understand the menu. However, it was yummy and it came with potatoes (everything in Spain seems to as far as I can tell Haha) + peppers. The rest of the menu I'm clueless about. The napkins seemed to be made of plastic so hope you brought some napkins in your bag, but aside from that bathroom was clean and overall pleasant and local vibe.
Ordered some calamari, and my friend didn’t even try them just by the look. I ate two of them after taking the grease off with a napkin, my tummy started aching. We informed the waiter who took them away upset. Not only he ignored our feedback about the state of the dish, but he almost told us off for informing him. The waiter is actually the owner of the restaurant, and he is more indigestiouos than his food
