If you’re to escape the thick crowds jetting to and from the train, pop into this joint for a little sip of the old school. Good for a friendly smile, a strong drink, a comfy spot, and a cozy, brightly lit talk. An off the beaten path cafe - and with plenty for food and specials if you get the urge. Joyful service.

Rubbish place, gross toilets and bad service. Grabbed a lunch in a cafe that looked from outside like a cosy French place (I wanted to feel Paris that I had in my imagination), but I found a gross place I don't even want to get back in my thoughts. They want your money, but aren't offering any value for it back. Dumb tourists, leave your money and leave... This is my impression of the place....

I can say I had what felt like a typical Parisian experience. Football on tv, what looked to be locals enjoying beer, and a bartender who didn't seem to care if I stayed or not. I had a Croque Madame and it was...edible. When I asked for the check, bartender nodded his head positively, then did nothing. At least I wasn't being pandered to!
