Legendary Lisbon cafe dating to 1905, famous for its Pessoa statue outside. Art Deco interior with marble tables. WiFi now available. More atmospheric than practical for work, but a must-visit cultural landmark.

While it is a touristy place and touristy prices, it brings locals and anyone for a great historic and beautiful atmosphere. The food and drinks were large portions and good. Service was fine/typical. I would check it out if you are in the area. There is indoor and outdoor under canopy from the elements seating. Overall, a great place for drinks and people watching.
The restaurant is in a nice location, close to everything. I think the higher prices may be because it is near Hermès. For example, a box of 6 pieces of pastel de nata costs twice as much as in other local bakeries that also make them. The waiters and attendants don't smile. The quinoa salad was good, but the stuffed croissant was bland and a bit soggy. I’m not sure what happened to it, as croissants are usually flaky and crisp. The coffee beans were not good, it's not smooth. If you just want a nice place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, this is fine. However, if you’re looking for a really delicious meal, I would recommend trying other nearby restaurants. There are fresher and tastier options elsewhere.
We had an incredible time here and tried three different traditional desserts: the Pavlova Morango (strawberry), the Pão de Ló de Chocolate, and another delicious treat. Everything was exceptionally fresh and flavorful! We paired them with two Galão (traditional Portuguese coffee), which were perfectly made. A huge thank you to Jorgiel for his amazing service. He was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is a must-visit in Lisbon. Great atmosphere, delicious desserts, and top-notch service from Jorgiel! We will definitely be back
A historic gem in Lisbon! Great outdoor vibes. This is a very interesting and iconic place—one of the oldest cafés in the city. You should definitely visit it at least once. If the weather is nice, sitting outside is absolutely amazing and very enjoyable. Just be prepared for the crowds—there is usually a huge queue to get a table, but it's worth the wait for the experience.
A Brasileira is undeniably beautiful and full of history. I arrived early at 8:20 AM to soak in the atmosphere. The pastries were fantastic—the two egg tarts and the croissant were perfectly flaky and delicious. However, for a total of 16.5€, I expected a bit more from the service. The lady serving me wasn't very welcoming and had a bit of a negative attitude. Come for the incredible history and the high-quality food, but be prepared for a less-than-friendly start to your morning
