A cute little place for different and unique Croissants and Cakes. It can be difficult to find a seating when it’s crowded. The staff is friendly. I like to take sweet and sour combos, only sweet can be too overpowering to finish.
Staff was nice but the pastry were terrible. The cinnamon roll looked good on the pictures so I wanted to have one but apperantly, the nice cover was only covering out dated dry dough of the roll :( Croissant was also not impressive at all. It is a fancy looking low quality cafe sadly. The coffee machine was broken so we had matcha latte and it also had a little matcha in it buy they added more after I ask for it.
I discovered this shop randomly on social media and thought it looked really nice, especially the cozy interior. I was excited to try it out, but the croissant didn’t quite meet my expectations and felt a bit too expensive for the taste. Still, the place itself has a lovely atmosphere and friendly vibe.
Initially I was interested by the beautiful presentation of the different pastries, so when I saw that they were also on Too Good to Go (app against food waste), I decided to give it a try. I ordered a surprise box of €5,99 (they use dynamic pricing from €8,99 down to €5,99 at around 16:00), with value of €18. Since the pick up time is pretty much all day, what you receive may depend on what time you go. Maybe just before closure you will receive more savoury pastries? I don't know. I went at 16:47 and was given 3 products: A cinnamon roll €5,50, a Strawberry Croissant €5,9 and a Berry Danish (maybe €5,90). To be completely honest I am glad that I tried this bakery at a reduced price because I feel the quality of the products does not match the prices, and would not have wanted to pay full price. I paid €6,19 in 2023 for a fenomenal Pistacchio Croissant at Anderson & Maillard in Denmark, so paying €5,90 for a mediocre one in Vienna was not something I would happily do. As to the pastries: - Cinnamon Rolls was not good (even heated up). The cinnamon filling was extremely gloopy as if they had added some flour in it. With a fork I could make it stretch. My homemade rolls are far superior. - Berry Danish was sickly sweet. A thin sugar spray on the surface is fine (that is what we did in the patisserie I worked at), but since it's soo small, extremely sweet pastry with sweet filling is just overwhelming. - Strawberry Croissant was not the best croissant dough I have had (even considering other too good to go evening ones I have tried). It was a tough dough, not crunchy and pillowy or soft.
A bit on the expensive side. Came here twice, first time was in the afternoon (great cakes, drinks and service, the Ukrainian waitress was really sweet), the second time at breakfast (service was meh, the honey cake was not properly cut and not fresh, the hot chocolate tasted off). Unfortunately seems like both service and food quality varies from day to day
