Hey so if you wanna go here do not expect any alcohol in the drinks. Also if you buy drinks they will tell you that the pool is free, but then reproach you to tell you, you must constantly buy drinks to keep playing if you are not paying for the 15 euro per hour. We got 10 shots for 32 but down the street at Dick Macks you can buy 10 for 18. DO NOT GO HERE. Also no AC its hot. When the bartender reproached us to tell us we “Had to pay for drinks to keep playing” he failed to bring us the three beers we ordered to keep playing.
Drinks were great, although the server was a bit rude and was confused by our order, thinking they didn't have the drink we ordered. We also had to wait for over 1½ hours until we were able to play because they forgot to put in our order into the system. Would go again, but praying for less problems next time
Please ignore the negative reviews about the service here -- I had visited with my wife on a busy Friday night during one of Vienna's many holidays, and while they were certainly busy the servers on both floors were incredibly welcoming and hospitable; even when the only German I knew was how to count and say "chuss," "bitte," "danke," etc. and they also served me arguably the best damn mojito I've ever had in my life. The way this place operates is different from any place I've been in the US but they explained it well to me: If you use a credit card they accept it but have to charge €30 and will give you the difference back in cash. There's of course the added exchange rate added onto that which was roughly €6, so bring cash if you want to avoid those charges. When we wanted to play pool there was a wait list for both the bottom & upper tables and they both operate as seperate wait lists, so find the floor that has the shortest list for more immediate play. Once we were playing the tables and the cue sticks were all in very good condition, and when a party leaves a table the lights above their table shut off which I thought was really cool and helps you focus on your own shots even better. All and all we had an incredible time here and I thought this place offered some of the best pool I have played, and I play A LOT of pool in the US.
Very loud environment. The staff were quite unpleasant when we needed to pay and refused to speak English even though they spoke it to us upon entering. Happy with the price however!
Nice place to play pool and pass the time. We ended up here because we couldn’t find much else to do as tourists in Vienna on a late Sunday afternoon before our evening concert—but we ended up enjoying it. The space is big and comfortable inside.
