Village Madeleine

Really great service! Our server and greeter Mun was amazing. They should have more people like him in the restaurant industry… the soup was great and the steaks as well. Would highly recommend this place to feel welcomed! Thank you Mun!

This place is a GEM! Known mostly to the locals! We had the best experience at Village Madeleine! Mun was incredibly hospitable and guided us through the menu with the best recommendations. Everything was delicious, and the service made us feel so welcome. We loved it so much we went back a second night—highly recommend!

Delightful service. The waiter was charming, attentive, and very nice. There is some air conditioning, so the indoor dining room is tolerable in a heat wave! The other patrons mostly had drinks only and we now know why! The food was...terrible. I got the bo bun, which was served hot?!? It's a cold dish! We also had the steak, which was cooked well done (requested medium). The child "steak" is a hamburger patty, also well done. The chicken main is also mediocre. The best thing we had were the fries, which were hot and crispy and not too thin. Overall, I would eat at any restaurant one block over, not on Rue Tronchet itself.

I spontaneously popped into this restaurant for lunch and was greeted by incredibly friendly staff. The contemporary and cozy atmosphere immediately caught my attention. Service was impressively fast, and the food was simply amazing. Plus, the staff are fluent in English, making it an excellent choice for a quick lunch. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a place to enjoy French food, not a touristy fusion restaurant, and I found it. I was getting tired (from walking too much), so I had onion soup and a glass of white wine to fill my stomach. The taste and atmosphere were just what I was looking for!
