The food was genuinely excellent. The Boeuf Bourguignon was rich and well executed, and the Piña Colada had real depth and proper alcohol balance. The chef and bartender clearly know what they are doing. However, the service system completely ruined the experience. When asked “water?” in English, no clarification was given that this meant a €9.50 bottled water. In many countries, asking for water implies tap water unless specified. Here, the ambiguity clearly benefits the restaurant, not the customer. At payment, I was simply told to tap my card. No explanation, no confirmation of the final amount. Only later did I realize the charged amount was higher than the printed bill. Whether this was presented as an optional tip or pre-entered is unclear — but transparency was completely absent. Staff were smiling and polite, yet immediately insisted on a five-star review at the table. That pressure, combined with unclear billing practices, feels manipulative rather than hospitable. This restaurant operates in a way that stays just within the technical limits of legality, but clearly takes advantage of language and cultural differences with tourists. The kitchen deserves praise. The service model does not. Future visitors: check the screen before tapping your card, and clearly ask for tap water if that is what you want.
One of our favorite meals in Paris - perfectly located if you want to see the Eiffel Tower light up & grab dinner afterwards, only a 5 min walk away. The champagne was incredible, the duck was perfectly cooked, and we loved our pastas. The beef dish was excellent as well!
We visited Paris Mon Amour Gourmet while traveling in Paris, and it was absolutely incredible. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. I ordered the truffle pasta, which was rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. My husband had the salmon, which was beautifully prepared and delicious, and our daughter loved her Alfredo—always a great sign when a child cleans their plate! The wine our waiter recommended paired beautifully with our meals and really elevated the entire experience. To finish, we shared the crème brûlée, and it was nothing short of divine. An unforgettable dining experience and a highlight of our Paris trip. Highly recommend!
Paris Mon Amour Gourmet sits steps from the Eiffel Tower, and that is the main reason people eat here. The location does most of the work. After a long walk around the Champ de Mars, it offers warmth, chairs, and a clear view of Paris life moving past your table. If you judge the restaurant as a place to rest near a major landmark, it succeeds. The food tells a different story. The dishes look the part but stop short of delivering much flavor. The Caesar salad leans on fried chicken for texture but lacks balance. The beef dish feels heavy and predictable, built more for presentation than taste. Nothing is bad, but nothing stands out. You are not discovering French cooking here. You are eating safe food made for tourists who will not return. This restaurant makes a clear trade. You pay for proximity, not quality. That is not a flaw if you know the deal before sitting down. Expect convenience, shelter, and a Parisian backdrop. Do not expect a meal you will talk about once you leave the table.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Perfect Parisian Experience! Paris Mon Amour, right by the Eiffel Tower, absolutely blew us away! Every dish we tried was incredible — the French onion soup was rich and comforting, the lasagna and carbonara were unbelievably flavorful, and the duck was cooked to perfection. Truly some of the best food we had in Paris! Our waiter, Max, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead of what we needed. And the bartender, Sham, deserves special recognition. Not only were his drinks strong and delicious, but he also put on a whole show behind the bar! He tossed bottles like a pro and even balanced a drink on a spoon — total entertainment! We had such a wonderful time at this restaurant. Between the amazing staff, the fantastic food, and the warm, lively atmosphere, Paris Mon Amour became one of our favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended! 🌟🍷🇫🇷
