Had a lovely breakfast here. Cafe is clean with very polite staff. Menus are available in both French and English- and kindly swapped once it was clear I was English speaking. Food was hot and very tasty. Seems to be popular with locals. A lovely place and well worth the visit.
What a treat to find a whole list of gluten free buckwheat flour galettes! Both “Emma” and “Lucie” were delicious. Portion sizes are ample enough to share if you are on a budget. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. Decor cheerfully authentic bistro. Freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices were excellent. Highly recommend! Update: went back for dinner. The ambiance is even cozier in the evening. The asparagus risotto with arugula was absolutely delightful, though it could have used more asparagus and we didn’t appreciate the need for the poached egg. Pinot noir was lovely. Mango/passionfruit sorbet was also delicious. Service was again friendly, professional and efficient. Second update: we had another buckwheat galette (Josephine) and 2 lemon-honey crepes for brunch. Both were excellent. Third update: went back for dinner again. This time the fish with piperade and a glass of aix en Provence rose was so good I plan to repeat the same meal two more times before we leave Paris. Absolutely delicious! A little more expensive than brunch (around 30 € per person), but worth it! Just a lovely spot all around. Repeat customers. Huge fans!
I went to there with my spanish girlfriend. The woman server treated really nice! So we could experience short stop over here really good. Escargot was really nice it was good pair with bread. And I asked medium for steak it was also good! Also food was also served quickly!
We ate dinner here on Christmas Eve. The food was OK, the best thing was the rigatoni carbonara and the Jules à la Ferme charcuterie board. The restaurant is pretty tightly seated, even by European standards. The espresso machine behind the bar makes a lot of noise, we were about 15 feet away from it, it’s hard to talk while it was working. The waitress was pleasant, but probably in charge of too many tables and it was hard to get her attention resulting in delays in ordering and getting food. The place is beautifully decorated, kind of looks like somebody put fake flowers all over an old Abercrombie and Fitch but overall it’s charming. Like most places in Paris, it could benefit from some sort of a double door to decrease the cold drafts when people enter or leave. On the whole, there are a lot of restaurants in this neighborhood and we will probably look elsewhere next time.
The food was delicious. Fish & chips, Cabonara pasta, crepes, red wines all taste good. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Very friendly and efficient male staff servicing me, think he was the in charge there somehow as he was so hard working.
