What a gem! If you want to get a drink at a local bar with the cutest host I can recommend this place with my whole heart.
Love it 🤘🏼🎸
Read all of the 1 star service reviews and you will see why “No, just no. I’m not doing this, only two beers when you guys have other drinks in hand”(empty cans btw) but she judged before we got to tell her. Also how would she know we would stop at just 2 beers?? It’s Olympics day and the streets are empty from roadblocks. This spot is serving two tables before me and my friends got in. Maybe the server had a poor experience with another group of tourists but she refused to service us (group of 4) for only ordering two large beer. Meanwhile the other group of 4 here had a 25cl beer each vs us ordering 2 50cl beer. If you are a tourist wanting to stop by for a quick beer before going on with your day, just order a small beer unless your whole group is ordering. Totally ruined our mood but maybe she’s upset we interrupted her game on the laptop. AND if you ordered Perrier and didn’t finish, don’t bother trying to take it with you because it’s also a “NO”
We came and ordered in French and she told us there were no milk drinks. I said that's fine and ordered a non milk drink. Apparently because that was not enough to get us foreigners to leave, the waitress literally told us to get out and refused to serve us.
It’s not easy to find a good rock bar with attitude and let alone finding that near opera area in Paris. It brings a little edge to the touristic scene. They frequently have photography exhibitions of rock groups and such. The rest is classic café stuff, wine, beer, coffee and some food.
