It's ok, we ordered Spanish tortilla and ensaladilla rusa and they were both nice. Local beer from the tap. It is true the comments about the service, they are not very friendly.
Nice terrace in the summer, however very unhappy about the food and service. We ordered the humus platter and it was very clear that the humus and pre-cut carrot and celery had been on the plate for a long time. The bread was old, and halfway through we found out there was mold on it! We got the price of the hummus back, but still had to pay for our drinks. I will never come back.
It is more or less an "artsy" Cafeteria. You can expect nice, basic food quality (but not more, e.g. for the burgers), nice lemonades (if available) and nice cakes. The QR thing is rather bad: It may not work, show an error page or show you a message only in Spanish that you currently "cannot order to your workplace". Which means that you can order at the desk. Unfortunately, they have no list of available offers at the desk and have almost no printed menu cards. Note, that in the few existing ones (which have Englisch subtitles!) the prices are not up to date. Digitalization is fine, but you should be able to get at least a menu card or should see a list of available offers at the desk, while you cannot order electronically...
Great place to come for coffee and breakfast with children. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with shade and parasols. Huge plaza for children to play and ride bicycles while parents chat and have a coffee. Indoor is also very spacious and kids have some room to play a little, although there is no indoor play area. Need to order from the table using QR code and mobile phone. I’m a regular visitor for breakfast and never had any issues with service like other have mentioned. There are few staff, but generally fast and efficient, no time to chat. The toilets aren’t great, often missing soap. But there is a baby changing table.
Food is ok, but everything on the menu seems to be missing that one last thing to really make it make sense. Their jarra de sangria is actually a tinto verano. I literally saw them making it - they poured wine with lemon fanta over some orange slices. It's really a shame for a place in Madrid to think they can get away with this. I've been to this place multiple times because the location and terrace is fantastic, but I really don't like the vibe because it seems they overwork their staff. It takes forever to get your order and the waitors always look like they're in an insane rush. The whole WhatsApp system feels cold and dehumanizing to be honest.
