Smart Italian restaurant and pizzeria spotlighting the Campania region, plus cocktails in the bar....
Popped by for a quick breakfast bc I was staying around the corner, and I’m so glad I did! Had an excellent coconut milk cappuccino and pastries. The service was friendly and attentive, and the croissants were delish.
Early this month, I visited this restaurant for the first time after it was recommended by my friend. The food was amazing and very tasty. All the staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. Special thanks to Lauro! The prices were also very affordable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place.
By far the worst dining experience. I have been wanting to come here for months and it was really hard to get a reservation. So finally they had a Tuesday available, and I thought that at least the food and service would be worth all the waiting. However it was really a nightmare. For some reason even though we walked it a week before just to make a reservation, they sat us in this really weird section of the restaurant that is right under the staircase, where the restaurant (or in Irish term the “toilet”) is right behind our head; so throughout the whole dinner all we hear is the toilet door slamming behind us… and also on the other side of us is the coat rack. We came during Christmas time hoping to see the decorations, and since we’re seated right where the toilet door is we can’t even enjoy any bit of the ambiance. The food was also a huge disappointment- we order minestrone soup- it only had a very bland broth some onions and celery in it- no tomatoes, beans, noodles or anything else added to it. It was just the most basic broth…. The pizza was also very bland and hard without a sauce. I’m really disappointed… I felt like crying throughout the whole dinner….
To be honest we tried to get into another Italian eatery first but couldn’t therefore we ended up here by default and that was lucky for us. As you enter you soon realise there are two parts with a cafe upstairs and a restaurant downstairs seemingly two separate businesses. We were lucky to get a table secured for an hour and a half between bookings. Very nice downstairs space: Good looking menu choices. Food very good. Hot and tasty. Nice wine too. We all shared one desert 🤣🤣 Not too pricey. Good toilets too. Recommended 😁🏴🇮🇳
Had a wonderful meal at Il Caffe Di Napoli in Dublin! The kids loved the Margherita pizza and meatball pasta. We also enjoyed the calamari, sautéed mushrooms, though the veal topped with bacon was a bit on the salty side. The Caesar salad was truly outstanding. The open kitchen in the basement adds a nice touch, allowing you to watch the chefs at work. A great spot for authentic Italian cuisine!
