Avoid pastry. Unfortunately the kitchen didn't have hot breakfast, not a problem here. Things happen. We got a decent sandwich and a nice looking pastry that was absolutely stale and old and gave me stomach ache. Nice server and atmosphere.

Went to this bistro last Monday with a friend, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. I ordered an iced tea that tasted more like a watered-down chamomile drink you'd sip when you're sick—not refreshing at all. As for the desserts, they were a disaster. The piña colada dessert was especially bad—strangely artificial and just unpleasant overall. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

I really like this place: nice atmosphere, pleasant service, fair prices delicious food, that also looks nice. I like the coffee selection, nice big sandwiches, breakfast options and cool looking tasty deserts. And finally the overall theme: bread! I tried couple of bread based drinks and some bread specials - and quite liked them. Some of them may be experimental, but they still were good and unique. If I had to pick a negative, that would he the working hours: Na chlebu is opened till 6pm every weekday, except Fridays (till 4pm) and my only question is, how am I supposed to enjoy that bread jin you have, if I cant come here after work or at a Friday night!? Give me a chance and maybe introduce long Wednesdays, when you are opened from 10am till 8pm or so, so I can finally try all the curious bread based drinks you have :)

This is probably the best cafe in Prague at this point. The food is great both breakfast and lunch. Cakes and sweets are also lovely. The home made bread is fantastic and the best thing is the coffee! Genuinely best coffee in Prague. The staff is fantastic! Friendly and open with great attitude! Absolute perfect place for breakfast/lunch or quick coffee when in the office. Glad to call this my local spot!

This is exactly what we were missing at Invalidovna. Finally we have a place where to grab a coffee on the way to the office. The space is also very cosy for working - equipped with power outlets, big wooden tables and enough light and views of the area. I really enjoy the atmosphere, attentive staff and all the food from tasty fresh ingredients. It feels like a bit like a fata morgana here 😁
