On Dec. 31st. I needed to buy a fine cake for important dinner, I came across with this small but cute pastry shop. They open early, the shop is clean, well designed for the space available, they offer good coffee, great pastries and most importantly for me l, a superb truffle framboise cake that everyone at the party enjoyed :) I truly recommend this place, They saved my day!

Love this cafe!! For what you’re paying (which isn’t too cheap but not crazy expensive) you’re getting VERY generous portions of very tasty food! I had the pesto quiche and I’ll tell you it’s the tastiest quiche I’ve had in a long time!! It was super filling! My friend (a guy) had the salad and he could even finish it!

We went to the new Maria Fortunata location in the Roma neighborhood (which is still not officially open yet) and we were BLOWN AWAY!!!! We tried: - the Cróque Madame - made with their baked-in-house bread. Absolutely delicious! - the Roasted Chicken salad - OMG!!! Big, hearty and, again, Delicious! - cardamom spiced chocolate - very good, a little lite on the cardamom, but very good! - semi bitter chocolate - better than the cardamom one! Perfect for a Sunday morning! - the lemon curdle tart- my kids LOVED it, I liked it a lot - the lavander / chocolate mousse tart - the lavander layer was absolutely totally delicious! The chocolate mousse was very good but overpowered the lavender… overall, it was only awesome! - the fig tart - it was very good As you can probably tell, we reaaaally liked it! Congrats to the owners! I hope y’all are very successful with this new location!

This is a very small cozy gourmet store. Their desserts are quite nice and tasty!! I ordered a cinnamon cookie filled with “dulce de leche” which was spicy, I also tried lavender chocolate and some specoolous cookies dipped in dark chocolate. And a apple pie also very spicy. I also asked for a “Madalena” unfortunately I didn’t eat it that day, and next day some green spots appeared 😕 .... but it looked really tasty. They do have everything in place for health emergency, its wheelchair accesible and the also sale coffee. Totally do it again!!
