The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the display case was filled with beautiful pastries, which made the long wait in line feel worthwhile at first. After waiting for while in line, I ordered a pain au chocolat to eat in, and there were several still available when I placed my order. However, when our ordered arrived, the pain au chocolat was missing. When I asked about it, I was told it had sold out — meaning they had given them away to other customers after I had already ordered mine. They didn’t even apologize or offer an alternative. Very disappointing service and a frustrating experience.
Excellent. The breads are little pricier, but apparently they invest more time into the sourdough process! €30 for a aroscone and for €35 you get cream so you can fill yourself.
Regular experience. The Cardamom roll lacked flavour and the dough was not soft. It felt old. The “Pain au Chocolat” was okay as well. Not amazing. Correct service.
Incredible bread and pastries. Delicious coffee, wonderful service and really cozy vibes. I would recommend to make the time to go if you’re visiting Madrid or if you live there, one hundred percent worth it. The pastries are a work of art and the bread has so much flavour, you can really see the hard work put behind every single thing. Thanks so much, I will come back soon! Also, the tote bags and the T-shirt are super fashionable and beautiful!
The food here is awesome. We had the bacon as well as the mushroom toasts and both were delicious. You just need some patience as it tends to get crowdy during weekend brunch. So orders will take a bit. Overall I'd say it's worth it for a repeat visit. I may just choose a less busy time.
