Sitting outside is nice but something is lacking, this place doesn’t feel special

I recently visited this lovely Kaffee spot in the heart of Berlin, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I tried the banana bread, a cookie dough treat, and a hot chocolate, and everything was absolutely delicious. The banana bread was moist and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness. The cookie dough was indulgent and satisfying, a real treat! And the hot chocolate was rich, creamy, and perfectly comforting, especially on a chilly Berlin day. The service was friendly and welcoming, but there was a bit of a queue to get my order taken. I would definitely recommend this café to anyone looking for a cozy spot with tasty treats in central Berlin. I’ll definitely be back!

I hadn't been here in at least 10 years probably when it was one of the few cafés in the area; now it's one of the few places still there from that time and there's many cafés (I just rarely am looking for one there)...and it's open early and just next to the U-Bahn station, a welcome port in an ice storm! There were few people there but it was crowded for the early morning, the ambience was probably nicer 15 years ago but welcome to the neighborhood!

Kaffemitte was our go-to place for coffee when we stayed at Numa Weinmeister, about 150 meters away. The coffee was good, but the main downside was the queue. There was usually only one barista working, which made the wait quite long at times. One day the line was so long that we decided to leave instead. Overall a decent place, but it could be better with more staff during busy hours.

Best coffee from my point of view, sincerely the coffee teaste so great 🤍😊. The baristas are super friendly.
