Very nice space with big room and cute decoration. The pastries look tasty and the staff is nice / helpful. We had eggs benedict and breakfast with some coffees. The bread was nice and coffee too. Was a bit surprised to see the matcha was sweet and that the eggs had so much hollandaise sauce. Overall it was good but felt it was too pricey for what it was. It is great for kids with space and baby chair available.
I visited twice during my stay in Vienna. For takeaway, I had a quiche, a ham and egg bagel, and a vegetable and cheese sandwich. Even when they had cooled, the flavors were rich and delicious. When eating in, We enjoyed granola with yogurt and French toast. I could really feel the care and quality of the ingredients. Both experiences were wonderful.
Starting with the good: nice and aesthetic interior, yummy pastries, relatively fast service even when busy, pretty good portion size, have a breakfast section and bakery section, and delicious coffee. Now the not so good: a bit overpriced for what you get, can get very loud and hectic when busy, apple strudel was ok, tables feel quite squished together. Regarding the egg Benedict, it was a good portion size however it lacked some flavor/seasonings or it asked for something a little more, like some avocado since it was quite expensive (17€) I feel it tasted quite bland so if I were here again I wouldn’t order it and would choose something else.
This is a wonderful cafe for breakfast or tea with incredible pastries! Almost every table is taken until around 11 a.m., so the service can be a little slow. Over a few days, I tried almost all of their breakfasts, and my favorite was the Salmon Trout Scrambled Eggs. I also highly recommend the BIO MOHN SCHNECKE pastry an unbelievably delicious cinnamon roll with poppy seeds and cherries.
I wouldn't call this bakery excellent, but it's definitely good. I find it quite pricey even for an organic bakery, and since the prices aren't listed anywhere, you get a surprise at the cash register. There are two outdoor seating areas. The one on the right is for takeaway orders, and the one on the left you can be served. The cafe isn't on a main street, so it's not too loud, which makes sitting outside pleasant enough for a big city. Note: The plastic knives are so flimsy that they break straight away, when you try to use them.
