I am not sure why everyone says bad things about this place. It was clean and good price. Adequate

The dirtiest and most uncomfortable place to sleep. If you haven't booked here yet, please don't. The beds stink, they never clean the bathrooms, and the floors in the rooms all smell awful. I stayed four days, and a girl had her belongings stolen from her locker. This is definitely the least convenient place in Paris!

I can't complain for price and location. It does what it does, a cheap alternative for a night or two. The bed is okay, only a bit old. The good thing is you can choose your own bed. It's located near Bercy area, close to bus stops and metro stations.

Great location, very easy to get into the centre of Paris using Metro, train or bus. Late check out time meant it was easy to spend some time in Paris in the morning without our bags. The room was a little run down and not so clean, but for the cheap price and the good location it was fine. We thoroughly checked for bed bugs after seeing other reviews but found no sign of any on this occasion. For a very cheap overnight stay near the heart of Paris, I would recommend it.

This hostel is fine. I think whatever issues others reported a year ago about bedbugs has been resolved. There were none when I stayed. I got nervous and even checked the mattress but all was fine and seemed to be a new mattress. It is a basic hostel but that is reflected in the cheap price for central Paris. The dorms are large and can be as noisy as any other hostel - dependent on the people staying rather than being in control of the staff. Toilets/ showers were clean but very basic. Lockers are provided for free if you pay a $20 deposit which they refunded straight away. A basic hostel for a cheap price.
