Very, very disappointed. The price-performance ratio is absolutely wrong here. The plate in the photo costs 16 euros, with two wafer-thin slices of cheese, a tiny amount of marmalade that tastes of nothing, and a little avocado. The only thing that was tasty was the brown butter. My burritos were okay, the coffee was maybe a 6/10, and the matcha was nothing special either. One of the most expensive cafés in Lisbon, but by far the worst so far. Don't let influencers and bloggers sway you; it's definitely more about appearances than substance here.
We discovered Comoba completely by accident during our trip to Lisbon, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of our vacation. The coffee was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I don’t say that lightly. Perfectly balanced, rich, smooth, just exceptional. The food was equally impressive. We had a porridge bowl with berries, nuts, pumpkin, and beautifully layered flavors that felt both nourishing and indulgent at the same time. We also tried a savory pastry with delicate crispy layers, filled with cheese and mushrooms, and it was absolutely delicious. Every bite felt thoughtful and well executed. Everything tasted fresh, creative, and made with care. The presentation was beautiful, and the service was super friendly. Overall experience exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. If you’re in Lisbon, don’t miss it.
Had high hopes for these matcha pancakes but sadly they sort of tasted like nothing..no matcha taste really and the cashew butter was quite rich I couldn’t finish it all. Looked so pretty and appetising though. Went early in the morning. Service was good and it was quite spacious and quiet. Saw quite a few people working on their laptops in there - so I assume it’s work friendly. Ordered: Matcha pancakes €14.90 and americano €3.
This place is amazing. Family of four, we sat comfortably toward the kitchen and enjoyed the quaint surroundings. Our server was calm, very pleasant and the food was expertly prepared (and styled) as it was as wonderful to look at as it was to eat! Highly recommend. Visited on a Friday, little to no wait.
Textbook definition of hipster cafe. Vegan options, pet friendly, abundance of toddlers, no meat options at most eggs and fish iirc. Pretty Instagramable though. Had the cookie which choc chips will salt nice and chunky. Coffee was smooth but again I think Lisboa standards here are towards mild/weak neutral flavors.
