Specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs & light bites in a cool space with ample seating....
I had a really wonderful experience here. The restaurant was so nice and welcoming that I honestly didn’t expect such warm care as a foreigner, but the staff treated us amazingly well. I’m still very impressed by the way they took care of us, even though it was quite a long time ago. I design websites for brands like this, and seeing how great the service and atmosphere are, I’d genuinely love to volunteer to help improve or maintain your website so it can showcase the restaurant even better online. Places like this deserve to be seen by more people. If the owner ever sees this, you can find me on IG @suredigitex.
My favorite coffee spot in El Born - I always stop by before or after the gym. The coffee is consistently excellent, strong, and properly made. The only downside is the space: it’s very small and often crowded. Not the best place to sit for long, but definitely worth it for the quality of the coffee.
I’m a light-roast espresso person, so I was excited to try this spot. I’ve been four times now, always ordering a straight espresso and once a pastry, so I feel like I’ve got a decent read. Two of the four espressos were excellent. Bright, clean, and exactly what I’m looking for. The other two ran a touch sour, likely just minor extraction variance. Not a big issue, and something milk drinks would easily smooth out. The team was consistently kind and fast, which I really appreciated. The pastry I tried wasn’t my favorite, but overall it’s still a solid specialty coffee stop. Not quite five stars for me, but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy lighter specialty roasts.
Great experience at Hidden Coffee in Barcelona. I tried the Nerbiri V60 and it was very well balanced with clear, clean flavors and excellent brewing. The carrot cake was also delicious — moist and rich without being too sweet. The place is calm and the baristas really care about quality and detail. Definitely worth visiting again.
Amazing coffee, one of the best I had in Barcelona for sure. Only negative was they wouldn’t allow me to order a coffee with coco milk even though it was available as it was “only for matcha” maybe do not leave it on display if you can’t order it or make it available for coffees too!
