We had dinner at this restaurant on New Yearβs Eve as a group of 12 people. The cheese fondue was excellent, served with a great variety of sides. We also enjoyed sparkling Austrian wine, which was very tasty. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived about 10 minutes late, they took great care of us. From the moment you walk in, you really feel at home. A wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended.
We were out of options during Christmas Eve as we were not able to find a place to dine, and after a huge search, we were able to find Der Kuckuck, which made for an amazing, memorable, and tasty night to remember. The hosts were an amazing family who welcomed us with big smiles and hospitality. The food served was amazing, tasty, delicious, and highly recommended. The place has a very cozy and nice ambiance.
The best dinner we had in the city even though we found this gem by chance. The place is very cozy, with light music and the nicest owners. I also loved the fondue and the gulasch π« β€οΈ. Totally recommend!
Absolutely perfect place with the sweetest owners! Food was delicious with great quality. Fesenjan and keshke bademjan were wonderful. Historic location right in the center of town. We were treated like family and would go back in a second. Highly recommend.
I hope you try it. I hope you get the Wienerschnitzel with the Kartoffeln, and end it with a serving of Apfelstrudel. It's so good... So good that it feels like you're touching the soul of a nation. It's so good that it brings tears of joy. Both of the people were so kind, and so happy how much I loved it. And I hope you love it too. This place is a staple of Vienna, and everyone who visits this city should swing in to enjoy a taste of the culture. P.S. If you're from the states like me, the Radler is like nothing you'll find at home.
