If you’re around Vorgartnermarkt or Messe Prater, do yourself a favor and stop by The Good Coffee Society. It’s one of those rare gems that instantly makes you feel at home. The place is run by two friends (one Austrian, one Italian) and together they’ve created something really special: a blend of Austrian coffeehouse charm and the energy of an Italian bar. The result? Coffee that’s simply outstanding. They use top-quality beans and brew everything on a Victoria Arduino machine (basically the Ferrari of coffee makers) and you can taste the difference in every sip. They’ve also got a small kitchen serving delicious brunch dishes. Recently, they expanded, now there’s a second space just a few meters from the original corner spot, offering more room and tables while keeping the same cozy vibe. Whether you’re sitting outside in the summer sun or tucked inside on a cold Vienna morning, this place just feels right. In an area of the 2nd district that doesn’t have many great cafés, The Good Coffee Society truly stands out.

We have already visited this place for 3 times in 4 days - always very warm service, takes care about all needs, staff is super warm and even remembers details about clients! Glad we’ve found this place, now it’s our “Friends” cafe🤍 it’s super cosy and not very big but always crowded (staff always tries to find a place when it’s possible). Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options is always available. Can’t wait to taste their Chai! Highly recommend🤍 Hope they don’t lose their spirit and kind hearts. All the best
