Okay double espresso and below average sweet treat. The espresso tasted a little burnt to me.
Schönbergers holds a special place in my heart, serving as a significant part of my coffee journey. When I was studying at TU Wien, I made it a habit to visit Schönbergers regularly. They offered a diverse selection of coffee, from light-roasted Arabicas to Italian-style roasts with a strong robusta part. This exposure introduced me to various Italian and Austrian roasteries, including Goppion, Gallitelli, Miscela d’oro, Borbone, Hausbrandt, Naber, Kanzi, Süssmund, and Hornig. Schönbergers played a pivotal role in nurturing my passion for coffee, making me feel right at home whenever I visited. I must also express my gratitude to the exceptional team at Schönbergers and their incredible coffee machines.
I visited twice because of the many good reviews on Google. It seemed to be frequented by locals and regulars. I enjoyed the coffee and pastries in the cozy, warm atmosphere. The staff was also friendly.
Small but lively coffee bar, really cute and quite retro on the inside. Good coffee, I had the typical Austrian coffee the melange. The almond croissant was nice too.
Absolute favorite café in all of Vienna. Not only do they have an incredible selection of coffee, but the people working there are also super friendly and happy to chat with you (about coffee, or anything really). I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and I’ve never been disappointed
