My husband and I stumbled upon this cute cafe by chance when we were visiting Vienna and were we so glad we did! They’re a lovely couple operating from their hearts, genuinely wanting to make a difference through their offerings. Such a creative twist of cultures in the food and drink choices. For us, what stood out was the slow, conscious living vibe of the whole space. We just can’t wait to return!

Add this to your "go-to" place when in Wieden, or Wien for that matter. Perfect location, amazing owners, stunning food, clear love for what they do and offer. On top of that, there is lots happening at this place and you get the feeling that re:kompany is an ethically-run collective, not just a coffee joint. Thanks for all that you do! The owners are incredibly friendly, kind, and always so welcoming, creating a truly homely atmosphere where you instantly feel at ease. The service is excellent, and there’s a genuine sense of connection that makes this place special. It’s a great spot to relax with a coffee, whether you’re a local or a visitor, and its location near Vienna’s main train station makes it perfect for recharging during a busy day. I live close nearby, and the Café always has a lively, positive energy. It’s also a wonderful place for foreigners and locals in Vienna to meet new people and feel part of a community - there are frequently run and fun social events. What really sets it apart is how family-friendly it is also. The space is bright and spacious, the drinks and snacks are excellent, and there’s a dedicated area where kids can paint and draw. As a busy Parent, it’s the ideal place to unwind while the children are happily occupied. Definitely a go-to café that I highly recommend in Vienna.
