Café Caprice reopens on April 2, 2025, and the fun-filled days are back! We welcome everyone from Vienna's 14th district.

The former, filthy "Caprice" is now called MAXIMUS and has been completely revamped by the new, dedicated and very nice manager, Claudia. The new MAXIMUS is absolutely incomparable with the disreputable old Caprice - thank goodness! But it will probably take some time for word to get around. Claudia and her team have cleaned up the place; now only "decent" people are there, and they focus on cleanliness and good service. There are regular events, including live music. A pool table, darts, and a jukebox are also available. In the summer, there's a nice little outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant. After avoiding the old location for almost two decades, I now really enjoy going back there. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2023: After a renovation, particularly of the over 40-year-old restrooms, it has reopened under the familiar name "Caprice," with the addition of "Reload." Very well done!
