A lovely outdoors sitting area with soft seat cushions and a nice street view with horse carriages and retro cars passing by. A wide variety of delicious drinks and sweet treats with matcha flavor. The first drink on the menu - Royal Matcha, was a bit watery, but Matcha Latte Kokos was creamy and had a great taste.

Shodai Matcha Bubble Tea is an absolute treat for matcha lovers. The matcha flavor is rich, smooth, and authentically earthy—not overly sweet or artificial like many places. You can really taste the quality of the matcha, which pairs perfectly with the creamy milk and chewy boba. Everything feels well-balanced and thoughtfully made, from the texture to the sweetness level. It’s refreshing, comforting, and clearly crafted with care. If you’re looking for a bubble tea spot that takes matcha seriously, Shodai is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The shop is quite busy, with a steady flow of customers coming in and out. While the service is efficient, the staff’s attitude could use some improvement—a friendlier approach and a smile would go a long way. The matcha ice cream is quite good, with a fairly strong and authentic matcha flavor. Unfortunately, the bubble tea was disappointing; it tasted watery and the tapioca pearls were overcooked.

Can get quite busy meaning a wait time if you want to sit inside. However matcha is pretty good (more on the bitter side though) and the workers are very friendly. The inside is also pretty cute. I also got the mango mochi this time and it didnt really have too much mango tbh. However some of the crepe cakes and jelly stuffs are reallly good

The beverages and mochi ice cream were excellent. The shop's purple space creates a beautiful atmosphere, and the overall decor is gorgeous and extremely appealing. The server was highly enthusiastic and, I must add, very handsome! I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Vienna^^
