Le Petit Bazar, a happy coincidence on our first day in Vienna. The small café/pastry shop/gourmet grocery store in a Vienna square, is a delight to the eyes of those who enter, unsuspecting of how small and cozy the space is from the outside. Located in a square that also hosts an open-air food market, everything at Le Petit Bazar is taken care of down to the last detail, without any pretensions that detract from its function as a café/pastry shop/grocery store. The service is provided with a warm smile and an embracing helpfulness, with the simple service standing out for its warm and understated welcome. The products served are of remarkable quality and are presented with great care. Highlights include the tasty ham that can be combined with a freshly baked, crispy baguette and the lemon meringue pies. In the grocery store, the exquisite display of artisanal products is disarming, inviting you to want to take home all the local/gourmet products that I junt didn't bring to Portugal due to lack of luggage space. A grocery store that also stocks ‘artisan’ products that combine simplicity with good taste. But above all, don't miss out if you want to feel welcomed as if you were being received at a friend's house for breakfast, a snack, or a light meal.
Like a day in France 🤩 We spent such a lovely Saturday morning at Le Petit Bazar today, enjoying delicious food and drinks. One person in our group is from France and had happy tears because the food was so authentic and reminded her of home. We sampled our way through half the menu and everything was excellent, including the coffee and orange juice. The service was top-notch. They also accept card payments.
A very nice place. The shop, or rather the little bazaar, is completely unnecessary in my opinion. They could have put a few tables in there instead. Otherwise, very nice. I still have a long way to go in the market, but I can highly recommend this place.
Very nice new cafe and French specialty shop. Good affogato, I'll be back.
Best coffee - served with a smile 🤩
