Kurkonditorei Oberlaa

I came here for my Sachertorte collection. This one wasn't so great unfortunately. Chocolate icing was gritty and overly sweet, the sponge was uncharacteristically light and airy and the jam was one very thin layer barely noticeable.

I came here for a treat and coffee since I heard there were a few gluten free options. I was not disappointed. I ordered a melange and Holländer. Presentation and taste were both good! There’s lots of comfortable seating in the back, so I was able to stay awhile.

Went here for a lil coffee and cake break. I had a small brown coffee and tried the signature oberlaa torte. Total cost was close to 10€ which is honestly p expensive for a slice of cake and a simple coffee. Anyway how was it? The coffee was okay but nothing special. I'd say they taste was a bit generic. The cake was nice though. Good flavor and not overbearingly sweet. Service was friendly. Overall it's a decent spot but doesn't rly justify the pricetag.

super nice place, very welcoming and very clean, high quality desserts, everything perfect if it wasn't for the really rude and poor service. the cappuccinos arrived at the table with dirty saucers and some of the coffee was spilled inside, the desserts were not served but thrown rudely on the table. very bad!

It was a cosy place, everything was good, we tried a few cakes, and they were all very delicious, the chocolate one was the best( as expected) the coffee was also very enjoyable, the cream on top of the coffee felt like a soft fluffy cloud .
