Did I expect to stumble upon a small Napolitana pizzeria in Vienna? No. Was I expecting to scarf it down in 20 minutes? Also no. But here I am. Great, airy, chewy, pillowy dough. The Bufalo was beautiful (had a bit of a soggy bottom but I don’t mind) and the marinara had a beautiful basil essence embedded into it. Loved it cus most marinaras don’t taste like anything other than… tomatoes. The Bomba was DELICIOUS! Non-conventional but had all the right profiles. A tad bit salty but a four cheese sauce will do that. No notes! If you’re in the area and have time to stop in, definitely come thru. Due to the soggy bottoms of the pizzas they probably won’t travel well as takeaway. Great tiramisu too, they have crunchy chocolate malt balls in the layers.
The best pizza we’ve had so far. Highly recommend this place. The pizza dough was perfect. We had a great time, the staff is doing a great job. Keep it up :)
Delicious pizza in a cozy setting with only a few tables directly next to the stone oven. The seasonal pizza was quite unique but delicious as well. Service was quick and attentive. We will return!
[SUMMARY] Authentic Italian pizza made by italians in Vienna. Good service and a cute place in a quiet neighborhood. [THE FOOD] Everything was prepared on the spot with fresh italian ingredients. The bufala pizza was extraordinary. Tomato sauce was fresh and very tasty and blended well with the cheese . The crust was perfect. You have to try it. Mimosa was very balanced, thank goodness there wasn't much creme inside (common mistake of other pizzerias). [THE STAFF] Really fast service considering they had to prepare numerous take away orders and to serve the actual tables of the restauraunt. The waiter was professional and really friendly despite the workload. [THE PLACE] Nothing special, it's a small restaurant in the sidewalk. There are four tables outside and a few in the inside. I don't mention it in a negative way, quite the opposite. It's more personal and relaxing than the big restaurants. [THE COST] We paid 28.5 euros for two pizzas and two glasses of tap water. It's on the cheap side considering the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the pizza. Note: They had a painting of the god of Napoli in a prominent place. Nice touch.
Amazing pizza! It instantly took me back to Naples and reminded me of that trip. Absolutely delicious, with such wonderful people working here and an incredible taste. To those who write nonsense saying it’s not like Neapolitan pizza – have you even been there? I’m in love with it!
