They don't serve water and cookies with coffe, they nudged us to get water which we paid extra for,8 eur oreo shake was mostly blended ice, some milk and something else(not oreo). They don't take cards for payment.Service was good, they were quick and speak multiple languages.
Scammers!! Good food. Fast service. When it was time to pay, they didn't bring a printed bill. They said cash only, Euro 64. When I challenged them and ask for the bill, they brought it, it was only Euro 58. They lied "this is how it is in Vienna". Not true. Most other establishments in Vienna are NOT scammers.
⚠️ I was ripped off last night in Vienna. This place is a complete scam. I ordered a whiskey with soda — what they served tasted nothing like proper whiskey. When I asked the waiter, he claimed it was Red Label. I know my drinks, and this was definitely not Red Label. Even the smell from the bottle was suspicious and completely off. I refused to drink it and even offered to pay half. Instead, they shamelessly charged me €16.80 for a cheap, fake whiskey. They didn’t even present a bill until I insisted — and when it finally came, it listed Jack Daniel’s. But it was absolutely NOT JD. They even charged us €3.00 for 1 glass of water (not bottled water) They are blatantly scamming people. We later went back to our hotel and saw that the real price of a genuine whiskey was actually less than what this shady bar charged. 👉 Don’t waste your time or money here. Total scam. Shame on them.
We stopped by a small café next to Thalia yesterday to enjoy a glass of Prosecco. It’s served in mini bottles, which is a nice touch, but the prices were quite steep — €25 for two small bottles. On the positive side, service was quick and the staff were friendly. The location is also very convenient, right on the ground floor of the building that houses the cinema — perfect for meeting friends before a movie. The downside, however, is that they only accept cash. In today’s world, that feels pretty inconvenient (that'swhy i rate for 4). Yes, there’s a bank in the same building, but still — it’s not the kind of extra hassle you want, especially when there aren’t many alternatives nearby. Overall, a cozy and practical spot, but be prepared to bring cash and pay premium prices.
Waited over 20 minutes for a very mediocre sandwitch that could be bought in a supermarket for 2€, except here it cost 9€. Ham and cheese panini was alright, but also much too expensive for something so simple. Also, they didn't warn us until the very end thay they only accept cash, had to walk to an ATM. The waiter was rude about it.
