Nice-looking place, cozy atmosphere, and decent coffee — but the way they handle prices is simply not acceptable. Prices displayed outside were lower than the ones inside. For example, the pumpkin spice latte was clearly listed at €5 outside. Once inside, the menu showed €6. Then, at the counter, we were charged €6.50 with no explanation whatsoever. No extras, no changes, no justification. You choose a café based on the prices you see before entering. Changing them once the customer is already inside — and then charging even more than the indoor menu — is misleading and dishonest. It doesn’t matter if it’s “only” €1.50. It’s a matter of principle and basic transparency. To make things worse, communication was difficult as the staff didn’t really speak English, so we didn’t even bother arguing over it. But that doesn’t make it okay. Good coffee and a nice place don’t excuse incorrect pricing practices. Very disappointing.
I wouldn’t recommend this cafe if you just wanna grab a quick coffee and pastry with a friend because you can get better quality for a cheaper price elsewhere, but it’s an amazing place for getting work done on your laptop. If you’re gonna be there for a few hours doing work, I think it’s fine to pay 12.50€ for one coffee + one piece of cake in exchange for a great atmosphere. The interior is really pretty, very open with lots of light and a cool ceiling. Service was fine, I mean it’s self service but the woman behind the counter was friendly. The coffee was good, but the matcha was just… bad. Tasted like milk with minimal matcha powder used, also evident by the colorlessness. I saw multiple reviews that mentioned this and I hope they will use more/better matcha powder in the future. The cheesecake was good. For a small bottle of tap water they charge 1€. When I came for lunch I had zucchini soup which was yummy and a decent portion size, I just wish that they’d serve it with a slice of bread considering the price. Beware that laptops are not allowed on the dining tables from 11:30-14:00 to allow space for people who come in for lunch. But laptops are always allowed if you’re sitting on the high bar seats by the window, and also in the downstairs area. I don’t know if every seat has a plug, but both times I sat on the bar stools I had a plug in the wall next to me.
The place is very nice, vegan friendly and not very expensive compared to similar places. Would recommend going here is you like shakshuka, as they make it very well. The orange juice felt a bit weird, but maybe it just set on the counter for a while or just not the best orange batch.
The interior is great – a very cozy, pleasant, and modern place. The food and coffee were tasty. I’d rate the service around 2.5/5 – the staff are young, but they didn’t seem very welcoming to us as tourists, quite the opposite, actually. There was one very beautiful girl who served us – she had darker skin and curly hair – absolutely stunning, but if she smiled more and had a friendlier attitude toward customers, it would make a big difference.
This beautiful vegan/vegetarian café is set in a stunningly restored building with intricate stucco ceilings that add elegance to the warm atmosphere. The generous sandwiches and salads are not only delicious but thoughtfully crafted with complex flavors and rich nutrients. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling—making every visit a real pleasure.
